Journal ArticleDOI

The Role of Surface Oxygen in the Growth of Large Single-Crystal Graphene on Copper

TL;DR: It was found that the presence of surface oxygen could limit the number of nucleation sites and allowed centimeter-scale domains to grow through a diffusion-limited mechanism, and the electrical conductivity of the graphene was comparable to that of exfoliated graphene.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hierarchical assembly of micro-/nano-building blocks: bio-inspired rigid structural functional materials

TL;DR: This critical review will present biological rigid structural models, functional micro-/nano-building blocks, and hierarchical assembly techniques for the manufacture of bio-inspired rigid structural functional materials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reduced Graphene Oxide/Copper Nanowire Hybrid Films as High-Performance Transparent Electrodes

TL;DR: Compared to Cu NW films, the RG-O/Cu NW hybrid films have improved electrical conductivity, oxidation resistance, substrate adhesion, and stability in harsh environments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal Oxidation of WSe2 Nanosheets Adhered on SiO2/Si Substrates

TL;DR: The composition, structure, and electrical properties of mechanically exfoliated WSe2 nanosheets on SiO2/Si substrates were studied as a function of the extent of thermal oxidation.
