TL;DR: In this paper, a conceptual model linking product innovation, process innovation practice, normal quality (NQ), attractive quality (AQ), and product market performance is proposed. But, the authors do not explore the observable effects of technological innovation practices (TIPs) on product quality.
Abstract: Innovation and quality are essential for sustainable competitiveness in today’s business world. Despite extensive theoretical discussions about the relationship between innovation and quality, few studies explore the observable effects of technological innovation practices (TIPs) on product quality. This paper aims to empirically investigate the impact of TIP on product quality, considering the moderating effect of firm size. A conceptual model linking product innovation practice, process innovation practice, normal quality (NQ), attractive quality (AQ) and product market performance is proposed. The model is tested using survey data from 201 innovative Chinese manufacturing companies. The results reveal that TIP does indeed positively influence both AQ and NQ. Firm size moderates the relationship between TIP and AQ. The study contributes to a better understanding of how different-sized Chinese firms can utilise innovation practice to improve product quality and market performance.

TL;DR: The proposed extended information adoption model (EIAM) is empirically tested through a2 by 2 by 2 experiment in the social Q&A context, and the results confirm most of the hypotheses.
Abstract: To advance the theoretical understanding on information adoption, this study tries to extend the information adoption model (IAM) in three ways. First, this study considers the relationship between source credibility and argument quality and the relationship between herding factors and information usefulness (i.e., bias effects). Second, this study proposes the interaction effects of source credibility and argument quality and the interaction effects of herding factors and information usefulness (i.e., synergistic effects). Third, this study explores the moderating role of an information characteristic – search versus experience information (i.e., information contingency effects). The proposed extended information adoption model (EIAM) is empirically tested through a 2 by 2 by 2 experiment in the social Q&A context, and the results confirm most of the hypotheses. Finally, theoretical contributions and practical implications are discussed.

TL;DR: A real option game model, which combines evolutionary game theory with real options, is developed to explore the socially optimal ESS incentive policies for microgrid by utilizing the fluctuation amplitudes and equilibrium positions of microgrid development under different ESS policy options, that include the initial cost subsidy, the feed-in tariffs (FIT), and the production tax credit.

TL;DR: In this article, a dual-oligopoly game model of two manufacturers and consumers, where the government collects taxes from manufacturers based on their carbon emissions and the manufacturers can recycle waste products from consumers to reduce production cost and carbon emission taxes, is considered.
