23 Nov 2013TL;DR: In this article, a method using a thickener to improve the effectiveness of an emulsifier was proposed, which allows for low dosages of emulsifiers to work well so the emulsification does not cancel out the effectiveness other additives in the slurry such as collectors, frothing agents, regulators, depressors, deactivators, and activators.
Abstract: The invention provides methods and compositions for improving a froth flotation type separation. The method uses a thickener to improve the effectiveness of an emulsifier. The improvement allows for low dosages of emulsifier to work well so the emulsifier does not cancel out the effectiveness of other additives in the slurry such as collectors, frothing agents, regulators, depressors, deactivators, and/or activators.

12 May 2010TL;DR: In this article, a sheeting agent, a defoaming agent, and an association disruption agent are used for use on plastic substrates, which result in a faster draining/drying time on most substrates compared to conventional wetting agents.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to wetting agent compositions and methods for making and using the wetting agent compositions. The compositions of the invention include a sheeting agent, a defoaming agent, and an association disruption agent. The wetting agent compositions of the present invention result in a faster draining/drying time on most substrates compared to conventional wetting agents. The wetting agent compositions of the present invention are especially suitable for use on plastic substrates.

13 Aug 2003TL;DR: In this paper, a method of lubricating conveyor tracks or belts is described wherein the lubricant composition contains a polyalkylene glycol polymer, a fatty acid, and an anionic surfactant.
Abstract: A method of lubricating conveyor tracks or belts is herein described wherein the lubricant composition contains a polyalkylene glycol polymer, a fatty acid, and an anionic surfactant; also described is a lubricant composition with reduced sensitivity to low pHs. The composition may also comprise additional functional ingredients and be composed of ingredients that can be safely administered to humans and mammals.

02 May 2007TL;DR: The interchangeable load cell assemblies enable a single product dispenser to accommodate a broad range of differently weighted products and/or product containers as discussed by the authors, thus enabling the product dispensers to interchangeably receive the load cells.
Abstract: A mass-based dispensing system includes a set of interchangeable load cell assemblies. The load cell assemblies are sized to be interchangeably received into a mass-based product dispenser. Each of the interchangeable load cell assemblies has a maximum rated load that is different from the maximum rated load of the other load cell assemblies. The interchangeable load cell assemblies are substantially modular (i.e., have substantially similar external geometries), thus enabling the product dispenser to interchangeably receive the load cells. The interchangeable load cell assemblies enable a single product dispenser to accommodate a broad range of differently weighted products and/or product containers.
