TL;DR: This paper reviews the various methods of hardware implementation for SVD computation and studies the time complexity and hardware complexity inVarious methods of SVD compute.
Abstract: Singular value decomposition (SVD) is a useful decomposition technique which has important role in various engineering fields such as image compression, watermarking, signal processing, and numerous others. SVD does not involve convolution operation, which make it more suitable for hardware implementation, unlike the most popular transforms. This paper reviews the various methods of hardware implementation for SVD computation. This paper also studies the time complexity and hardware complexity in various methods of SVD computation.

TL;DR: A new set of morphological characteristics of Phonocardiogram (PCG) signal is presented for recognition of heart sounds and the proposed technique is highly robust to noisy real-world PCGs as shown by noise analysis.
Abstract: A new set of morphological characteristics of Phonocardiogram (PCG) signal is presented for recognition of first ( ${S}_{{1}}$ ) and second ( ${S}_{{2}}$ ) heart sounds (HSs). Initially, variational mode decomposition on PCG signal generates a set of amplitude and frequency modulated narrow band-limited components (NBCs) and Hilbert transformation of these NBCs comprehends its complex plane analytic signal representation (ASR). Instantaneous spectral attributes encompassing amplitude modulation bandwidths and convex hull area measure from the ASRs are concatenated to form the feature set. Experimental results on both publicly available and experimentally recorded HSs signals outperform the existing state-of-the-art. Also, the proposed technique does not require any timing information between ${S}_{{1}}$ and ${S}_{{2}}$ and electrocardiogram (ECG) signal reference and is highly robust to noisy real-world PCGs as shown by noise analysis.

TL;DR: In this paper, the front gate silicon dioxide dielectric layer of dual material double gate silicon on nothing MOSFET was replaced by high k dielectrics material layer, hafnium dioxide.
Abstract: Advancement of semiconductor device in sub 45 nm range has led to lots of development in device area, but it also raises some critical issues. One of such an issues is related to silicon dioxide layer which starts breakdown once its thickness is around 2nm range due to gate leakage current. In this paper, we try to overcome this problem by replacing the front gate silicon dioxide dielectric layer of dual material double gate silicon on nothing MOSFET by high k dielectric material layer, hafnium dioxide. This paper gives an analysis of the important parameter of semiconductor device such as threshold voltage and surface potential changes with change of dielectric layer to Hafnium dioxide from conventional silicon dioxide. The results are validated in ATLAS 2D simulation tools.

TL;DR: In this paper, an attempt has been made to examine the feasibility of wood charcoal as a biofilter medium and the microorganism Nitrosomonas europaea has been utilised to remove ammonia in a continuous reactor.
Abstract: In this paper, an attempt has been made to examine the feasibility of wood charcoal as a biofilter medium. The microorganism Nitrosomonas europaea has been utilised to remove ammonia in a continuous reactor. A maximum specific growth rate of 0.0565 h−1 was obtained for N. europaea in anaerobic environment using nitrate as electron acceptor. The slope of the graph between the maximum concentration of biomass and the nitrate concentration gave the growth yield (yield coefficient) for bacteria. The growth yield of N. europaea using nitrate as electron acceptor was found to be 1.67 and 92.67% removal of ammonia gas was found within seven days by wood charcoal-based biofilter.

TL;DR: Fraud detection algorithm based on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Logic based and ID3 which will mainly work in Indian On-line Transaction Scenarios is proposed which shows that the technique is more effective compared to the other techniques available in the literature.
Abstract: As the E-commerce is growing rapidly day by day, the on-line transactions are becoming an integral part of our daily life. The authenticating of an On-line transaction has become an important issue. In this paper we have proposed fraud detection algorithm based on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Logic based and ID3 which will mainly work in Indian On-line Transaction Scenarios. We used the Intuitionistic Fuzzy Logic to consider the Cognitive properties of different attributes, so that the authentic transactions are not blocked and Frauds are not allowed. We have used this Intuitionistic Fuzzy Logic based tree to classify the transactions as fraud, doubtful or normal. Experimental results are tabulated which shows that the technique is more effective compared to the other techniques available in the literature.
