TL;DR: In this paper, a microwave assisted zeolite-water adsorption heat pump system was designed, manufactured and investigated experimentally, and the influence of operation time of microwave oven on performance of the heat pump was studied.
Abstract: A microwave assisted zeolite–water adsorption heat pump system was designed, manufactured and investigated experimentally. The influence of operation time of microwave oven on performance of the adsorption heat pump was studied. The performance criteria: coefficient of performance, specific cooling power and volumetric cooing power, were calculated for the designed and tested adsorption heat pump system. The regeneration of adsorbent bed was achieved very rapidly (35 min) by using microwave heating system. The poor thermal conductivity of adsorbent did not affect the periods of isosteric heating and isobaric desorption processes.

TL;DR: New aminomethyldiphosphine (PCN) ligands, ((C6H5)2PCH2)2NR (R = C6H3 (CH3)(OH)) and their Pd(II) complexes have been synthesized and characterized.
Abstract: New, aminomethyldiphosphine (PCN) ligands, ((C6H5)2PCH2)2NR (R = C6H3 (CH3)(OH) (1a), C6H4OC6H5(1b), C6H4SC6H5) (1c)) and their Pd(II) complexes have been synthesized and characterized. These complexes were found to be efficient catalysts in the Heck reaction of activated and deactivated aryl halide with a variety of olefins. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. TL;DR: In this paper, the (n, 2n) and (n-p) reaction cross section calculations were compared with empirical formulas derived by several researchers and compared with the experimental data obtained from EXFOR database as well as with evaluated Nuclear data files (ENDF/B-VII.1: USA 2014).
Abstract: Neutron incident reaction cross sections of Germanium isotopes (70,72,74,76Ge) were investigated for the (n,2n) and (n,p) reactions around 14–15 MeV. Cross section calculations have been presented for 70Ge(n,2n)69Ge, 72Ge(n,2n)71Ge, 74Ge(n,2n)73Ge, 76Ge(n,2n)75Ge, 70Ge(n,p)70Ga, 72Ge(n,p)72Ga, 74Ge(n,p)74Ga, and 76Ge(n,p)76Ga reactions. Theoretical calculations were performed with four different computer codes: ALICE/ASH for the Geometry Dependent Hybrid model, TALYS 1.6 for two component Exciton model, EMPIRE 3.2 Malta for Exciton model and PCROSS for Full Exciton model with the incident neutron energy up to 20 MeV. The (n,2n) and (n,p) reaction cross section calculations were compared with empirical formulas derived by several researchers and compared with the experimental data obtained from EXFOR database as well as with evaluated Nuclear data files (ENDF/B-VII.1: USA 2014). Results show good agreement between the theoretical calculations having a major importance in nuclear data evaluation calculations and the experimental data from literature.

TL;DR: In this article, the resource activities of SMEs have been studied with Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), and it has been determined that those providing resource efficiency are only a few among the enterprises that are proceeded in the BIST SME Industrial Index; and these enterprises could reach their existent sales revenue and net profit numbers with less resources.
Abstract: Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are undertaking significant roles in the development of the economy of Turkey and in the increase of the production and employment encounter with many problems. Financial problems take an important place among them. The resources that could be used by SMEs in meeting the financing needs to be limited require the efficient use of these resources. In this study, the resource activities of SMEs have been studied with Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). In analysis short-term liabilities, long-term liabilities and equity values of the enterprises that are quoted continuously on SME Industrial Index within 2011-2014 have been used as input variables; and the sales revenue and net profit values have been used as output variables. The total efficiency values of each decision making unit have been attained with the use of CCR model according to the years, technical efficiency values of them have been attained with the use of BCC model and the scale efficiency values of them have been attained by comparing these values to each other. As a result, it has been determined that those providing resource efficiency are only a few among the enterprises that are proceeded in the BIST SME Industrial Index; and these enterprises could reach their existent sales revenue and net profit numbers with less resources. In this respect it has been revealed that the SMEs that have problems in providing credit and not having strong equity structure are not able to make use of their own resources efficiently.
