Abstract: A user friendly automation system is developed and integrated with a servo press control system for position data processing and generation. Providing connection between controller and driver, the new motion generation that has capability of industrial motion produce for different strokes is designed. Three feed-forward input parameters; position, velocity and acceleration data are applied for enhancing the control precision. Performances of servo press are evaluated by looking at system responses with the ram motion. The press main parameters are taken as the stroke length and the number of strokes produced. It is possible to change ram kinematics by changing drawing speeds, stroke rates or introducing dwell. Experimental studies are applied with the manufactured prototype. Experimental results are indicated that the press driven by PMSM with cascade feed-forward (CasFF) control has shown high tracking performance. Flexibility in ram motions is certainly introduced with higher tonnage ratings performing higher strokes herein.

TL;DR: In this paper, the toxic effects of aluminum oxide nanoparticles (Al2O3 NPs) on oxidative stress, stress protein, and genotoxicity parameters in Oreochromis niloticus were determined.
Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine the toxic effects of aluminum oxide nanoparticles (Al2O3 NPs) on oxidative stress, stress protein, and genotoxicity parameters in Oreochromis niloticus. Ninety-six-hour LC50 value of Al2O3 NPs was found as 52.4 ppm for O. niloticus. The fish were exposed to 2.6 ppm (5% of the 96-h LC50) and 5.2 ppm (10% of the 96-h LC50) for 3 days and 7 days. Various biochemical parameters, superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GPx), glutathione-S-transferase (GST) activities, glutathione (GSH), thiobarbituric acid reactive substance (TBARS), heat shock protein 70 (HSP70; stress protein), and genotoxicity biomarker 8-hydroxy-2-deoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) levels, were determined. Results showed that antioxidant enzymes were significantly decreased in SOD, CAT, and GPx enzyme activity, but GST enzyme activity was significantly increased in 7 days. The oxidative stress parameters, GSH levels, were significantly decreased while 8-OHdG and TBARS levels were increased in 3 and 7 days. HSP70 levels were decreased in the concentrations of Al2O3 NPs and exposure times. Our results showed that as a result of changes in oxidative stress parameters, stress protein, and genotoxicity parameters, O. niloticus liver tissue is highly sensitive and toxic to aluminum oxide nanoparticle exposure.

TL;DR: Zn0.456In1.084Ge0.460O3 as mentioned in this paper, a material closely related to bixbyite, has been discovered and solved from a combined refinement of synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction and time-of-flight neutron powder diffusion and confirmed with electron diffraction.
Abstract: We report the discovery of Zn0.456In1.084Ge0.460O3, a material closely related to bixbyite. In contrast, however, the oxygen atoms in this new phase occupy 4 Wyckoff positions, which result in 4 four-coordinate, 24 six-coordinate (2 different Wyckoff positions), and 4 eight-coordinate sites as compared to the 32 six-coordinate (also 2 different Wyckoff positions) sites of bixbyite. This highly ordered material is related to fluorite, Ag6GeSO8, and γ-UO3 and is n-type with a bulk carrier concentration of 4.772 × 1014 cm–3. The reduced form displays an average room temperature conductivity of 99(11) S·cm–1 and an average optical band gap of 2.88(1) eV. These properties are comparable to those of In2O3, which is the host material for the current leading transparent conducting oxides. The structure of Zn0.456In1.084Ge0.460O3 is solved from a combined refinement of synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction and time-of-flight neutron powder diffraction and confirmed with electron diffraction. The solution is a new, ...
