TL;DR: In this paper, the angular and frequency diversity techniques were used to reconstruct the target image from underwater acoustic imaging images, where the angular diversity means the scattered fields are collected under various angles with respect to the target.
Abstract: In this paper, the underwater acoustic imaging is given by diversity techniques. The diversity techniques utilized in this study include the angular and the frequency diversity. The angular diversity means the scattered fields are collected under various angles with respect to the target. The frequency diversity means the scattered fields are collected under various frequencies. Both the angular diversity and frequency diversity are utilized in this study to give sufficient information for reconstructing the target image.

TL;DR: In this article, a case study focused on a group of teachers' and students' opinions regarding the recent reforms in the dance department of Tainan University of Technology (TUT) in Taiwan.
Abstract: This case study focuses on a group of teachers’ and students’ opinions regarding the recent reforms in the dance department of Tainan University of Technology (TUT) in Taiwan. The author uses Pierre Bourdieu’s theory of forms of capital and symbolic violence to probe for the motivation, process and consequences of the changes brought about by reform, and her analysis exposes a form of symbolic violence derived from social aesthetic preferences. This is most clearly manifested in the cultural capital assigned to certain dance genres (ballet, modern dance or Chinese dance) at the expense of others. A serious consequence of this has been the reproduction of an unequal power structure at TUT and in Taiwan’s dance field in higher education in general, as those dancers specialising in the perceived ‘low’ forms are unable to obtain a university degree since dance majors are not offered in these low-ranking genres. Interviews with the respondents reveal that a rising awareness of the situation has led some agents...

TL;DR: This research is an investigation of the differences between the two mediums for reading, whether it affects the performance of reading, and how do the different sizes of digital reading devices compare to the traditional paper.
Abstract: Past research has shown that academia has no consensus on the advantages and disadvantages between paper-based reading and digital reading, which is why this research is an investigation of the differences between the two mediums for reading, whether it affects the performance of reading, and how do the different sizes of digital reading devices compare to the traditional paper. This researcher utilized questionnaires and behavioral observation as methods of investigation. The use of questionnaires was mainly to understand the operational habits of digital device users and the kinds of writing they read, and the behavior observation entailed asking 40 subjects to read on a given device or paper medium for an experiment on reading comprehension to gather data on user reading speed, comprehension, fatigue and other parameters. The results from this study will be used as a basis to formulate a more comprehensive research framework for a future study that more accurately measures the difference between digital devices of various sizes and paper medium.
