TL;DR: In this article, the authors focused on the assessment of the internal structure of WMA (computed in terms of the connected air voids (CAV) characteristics), fabricated using three WMA additives: Asphamin, Sasobit and Evotherm.
Abstract: Warm mix asphalt mixtures (WMA) are asphalt mixtures produced at reduced temperatures, as compared to conventional hot mix asphalt (HMA). Temperature reductions in the order of 10 to 50 °C are possible through the incorporation of diverse WMA-type additives. However, different aspects, including the mixture internal structure of WMA, are still an object of research. Consequently, this paper focuses on the assessment of the internal structure of WMA (computed in terms of the connected air voids (CAV) characteristics), fabricated using three WMA additives: Asphamin ® , Sasobit ® , and Evotherm ® . The CAV content corresponds to the fraction of air voids (AV) forming connected paths in a compacted specimen and is better related to the asphalt mixture response (e.g., permeability) than the total AV content. The CAV analysis was based on X-ray computed tomography scanning and subsequent image analysis. Corresponding results suggest the need for additional research to further characterize field compacted mixtures, produced at densification levels comparable to those achieved in the laboratory. In addition, the inclusion of WMA additives and corresponding temperature reductions did not substantially affect the internal structure of gyratory-compacted specimens (115 mm in height) produced for laboratory mixture evaluation.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyze the relationship between well-being, stress and risk factors, in a government institution in Ciudad Guzman, Jalisco, Mexico, and conclude that factors such as caracteristicas de liderazgo, claridad en funciones, relaciones sociales en el trabajo and the violencia, are determinants to avoid stress and maintain the wellbeing of workers.
EnglishThe World Health Organization mentions that mental health is a state of well-being in which the person is able to cope with the stress of life, work productively and contribute to their community. The literature of the labor field shows that psychosocial risk factors affect different components of health, such as stress, but there is a lack of work on psychological well-being and workers in Mexican government organizations. The objective of the article is to analyze the relationship between well-being, stress and risk factors, in a government institution in Ciudad Guzman, Jalisco. A cross-sectional investigation was carried out with various questionnaires. The results indicated that psychological well-being is inversely related to risk factors, and stress directly. No relationship was found between stress and psychological well-being. Risk factors predicted to a greater extent the appearance and increase of stress levels and to a lesser extent, the decrease in psychological well-being. It is concluded that factors such as leadership characteristics, clarity in functions, social relations at work and violence are determinants to avoid stress and maintain the well-being of workers.

TL;DR: In this article, a tactical model for the optimisation of a commercial supply chain for a non-for-profit relief network, inspired on a previously developed post-disaster logistics model, is presented.
Abstract: For both the commercial logistics networks as the non-for-profit ones, collaboration among suppliers is an important strategic resource. This paper considers a tactical model for the optimisation of a commercial supply chain for a non-for-profit relief network, inspired on a previously developed post-disaster logistics model. In order to evaluate the effect of cooperation among the different competitors, a logistic network was simulated and several cooperation scenarios were considered, based on the strengths of each one of the actors involved. The model aims the minimum cost of supplying a specific item for the network and, at the same time, it allows for the different suppliers assess the benefits derived from cooperation. Following a cooperative game theory approach, the Shapley value was calculated in order to determine the distribution of costs as well as the utilities of the players involved and to determine the feasibility of the cooperation scheme designed.

TL;DR: A study to identify the preferences of autistic children with regards to the interface components and develops a collaborative repository to store recommendations that support the design of interfaces that are specific for autistic children.
Abstract: Autistic people belong to a group with heterogenic conditions that are considerable dynamic. There are several applications specific for autistic users to support their treatment. However, several works do not describe the process for choosing the interface elements to differentiate the specific aspects for such audience. These aspects are important, since an interface containing attractive elements for autistic people can provide a better interaction. This paper presents a study to identify the preferences of autistic children with regards to the interface components. The study was divided in two stages: (a) regarding the view of practitioners that deal directly with the children and with the presence of the researchers; and (b) with the presence of the practitioners, but without the presence of the researchers. This paper also presents the identified aspects, developing a collaborative repository to store recommendations that support the design of interfaces that are specific for autistic children.
