TL;DR: In this article, a GANomaly network was used to detect geochemical anomalies related to mineralization in the southern part of Jiangxi Province and its adjacent areas in China, where the training data used in this study belong to a typical rare-sample category of imbalanced data samples; thus, during the training phase, only non-mineralized dataset randomly selected from the study area was used for training to avoid the overfitting problem caused by an imbalance between positive and negative training samples.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the impact of image resolution and other means of estimating mineral reactive surface area on simulated mineral reactions and reaction rates is investigated. But, the results show that the effect of surface area values on simulated reaction rates and porosity evolution depends on the reactivity of the mineral phase.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, a comprehensive chemical and isotopic comparison of geothermal fluid between the Xianshuihe-Anninghe Fault and the Longmenshan-Minjiang Fault was investigated.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, a broad spatial scope of the occurrence and distribution of strontium (Sr) and the relative importance of controlling factors on Sr concentration are spatially variable and partly dependent on the type of groundwater well.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: The effectiveness of the intelligent interpretation and visualization of geochemical exploration data supported by GIS and machine learning algorithms was demonstrated using a case study of processing a regional-scale geochemical survey dataset collected from Sichuan Province, China.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the amount of trace metal elements (TMe) in the phosphate rock wastes resulting from the processing of phosphate run-of-mine was analyzed. But the results showed that the analysed wastes are P-enriched (P2O5 = 20% - 27% -27% %) together with similar mineralogy such as natural phosphorites (carbonate fluor-apatite), but they displayed an enhancement in matrix phases.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, the authors report a potential map of radon distribution in the Campania region of southern Italy, using the geostatistical kriging interpolation method using QGIS® software.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, three statistical methods, namely, Random Forest (RF), Artificial Neural Network (ANN), and Logistic Regression (LR), were used for groundwater fluoride prediction in Datong Basin.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors showed that the median Cr value (baseline) of China is 50μg/g, and the ultramafic and mafic rocks respectively have median Cr values of 1609 and 129 µm/g based on 52 and 551 samples, much higher than those in intermediate rocks (47 µm+g on 991 samples) and felsic rocks (7.0 µm−g on 2558 samples).

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this article, HMs polluted farmland soils were collected from several typical mining areas distributed from the south to the center of China, with distinct soil physicochemical properties, and the association relationship between HMs and Fe fractions was determined using chemical extraction and correlation analysis.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: The results obtained demonstrated that exploration targeting models are affected by the ratio of non-deposit and deposit sites, and balancing between the number of deposit and non-Deposit sites is an efficient way to produce more-reliable exploration targets when supervised algorithms are applied for modeling.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present recent advances in the design of sensor, type of transducer and sensing elements for the detection of trace metals, including optical, chemical, electrochemical and field effect transistor sensors.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper used Pearson correlation coefficients of environmental factors containing each of the eight heavy metals (Zn, As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Hg) to assess the soil contamination risk to local residents in a mining area.
