Abstract
A computer program for simulating ground-water flow in three dimensions is presented. This report includes detailed explanations of physical and mathematical concepts on which the model is developed. Ground-water flow within the aquifer is simulated by using a block-centered finite-difference approach. The program is written in Fortran 77 and has a modular structure, which permits the addition of new packages to the program without modifying existing packages.

Hydrology of the southeastern coastal plain aquifer system in South Carolina and parts of Georgia and North Carolina

TL;DR: A quasi-three-dimensional, finite-difference digital ground-water flow model was constructed to simulate flow in the Coastal Plain aquifers prior to development as discussed by the authors, which was used to evaluate the hydraulic responses to pumping that have occurred up to November 1982.

Ground Water Issue Design Guidelines for Conventional Pump-and-Treat Systems

TL;DR: The RCRA/Superfund Ground-Water Forum is a group of scientists representing EPA's Regional Superfund Offices, committed to the identification and resolution of ground-water issues affecting the remediation of Superfund sites as mentioned in this paper.

Assessment of Groundwater Recharge in Agro-Urban Watersheds Using Integrated SWAT-MODFLOW Model

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors focus on the spatiotemporal groundwater recharge assessment in gauged and ungauged agro-urban watersheds in South Korea using the updated SWAT-MODFLOW model, which integrates the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT2012) and Newton-Raphson formulation for MODFLOW-NWT in a single executable code.
