Abstract
a b s t r a c t The ab initio quasirelativistic Hartree–Fock method developed specifically for the calculation of spectral parameters of heavy atoms and highly charged ions is used to derive transition data for a multicharged tungsten ion. The configuration interaction method is applied to include electron correlation effects. The relativistic effects are taken into account in the Breit–Pauli approximation for quasirelativistic Hartree–Fock radial orbitals. The energy level spectra, radiative lifetimes and Lande gfactors are calculated for the 4p 6 4d 2 , 4p 6 4d4f, and 4p 5 4d 3 configurations of the ion W 36+ . The transition wavelengths, spontaneous transition probabilities, oscillator strengths, and line strengths for the electric dipole, electric quadrupole, electric octupole, and magnetic dipole transitions among the levels of these configurations are tabulated.

Local and global effects of beta decays on r-process

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the impact of these new experimental and theoretical half lives on r-process nucleosynthesis within the two astrophysical sites currently favored for the r process: the neutrino-driven wind from the freshly born neutron star in a supernova explosion and the ejecta of the merger of two neutron stars.

The Tungsten Project: dielectronic recombination data for collisional-radiative modelling in ITER

TL;DR: The Tungsten Project as discussed by the authors aims to calculate partial and total DR rate coefficients for the isonuclear sequence of tungsten, which is used in the divertor component of ITER.

Electron Impact Total Ionization Cross Sections for Plasma Wall Coating Elements

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a method for calculating the total ionization cross section for various elements, including Li, Be, B, Ti, and Fe, in the energy range from the ionization threshold to 2 keV. The results obtained are found to be consistent and agree well with other measurements and theories everywhere available.

Oscillating nuclear charge radii as sensors for ultralight dark matter

TL;DR: In this article , the authors propose a solution to solve the problem of the problem: this article ] of "uniformity" and "uncertainty" of the solution.

The theory of atomic structure and spectra

TL;DR: In this article, the Slater-Condon theory of atomic structure and spectra is combined with a coherent set of closed-form equations suitable both for computer calculations on cases of arbitrary complexity and for hand calculations for very simple cases.
