Abstract
a b s t r a c t The ab initio quasirelativistic Hartree–Fock method developed specifically for the calculation of spectral parameters of heavy atoms and highly charged ions is used to derive transition data for a multicharged tungsten ion. The configuration interaction method is applied to include electron correlation effects. The relativistic effects are taken into account in the Breit–Pauli approximation for quasirelativistic Hartree–Fock radial orbitals. The energy level spectra, radiative lifetimes and Lande gfactors are calculated for the 4p 6 4d 2 , 4p 6 4d4f, and 4p 5 4d 3 configurations of the ion W 36+ . The transition wavelengths, spontaneous transition probabilities, oscillator strengths, and line strengths for the electric dipole, electric quadrupole, electric octupole, and magnetic dipole transitions among the levels of these configurations are tabulated.

First experimental constraint on the Os 191 ( n , γ ) reaction rate relevant to s -process nucleosynthesis

TL;DR: In this paper, the nuclear level density and the decay strength of the nuclear reaction code talys were extracted using particle-to-particle data from the Oslo reaction by means of the Oslo method and the level density was found to be a rather smooth function of excitation energy.

The impact of strong recombination on temperature determination in planetary nebulae

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors derived a fit for the recombination coefficient of [O III] 4363 that takes into account the radiative and dielectronic recombinations, for electron temperatures from 200 to 30,000 K.

Neutron density distribution and neutron skin thickness of Pb 208

TL;DR: In this article, numerical predictions for the neutron density distribution were discussed using various nonrelativistic and relativistic mean field models for the nuclear structure, and the results were compared with the very recent pion photoproduction data from Mainz.
