Abstract
a b s t r a c t The ab initio quasirelativistic Hartree–Fock method developed specifically for the calculation of spectral parameters of heavy atoms and highly charged ions is used to derive transition data for a multicharged tungsten ion. The configuration interaction method is applied to include electron correlation effects. The relativistic effects are taken into account in the Breit–Pauli approximation for quasirelativistic Hartree–Fock radial orbitals. The energy level spectra, radiative lifetimes and Lande gfactors are calculated for the 4p 6 4d 2 , 4p 6 4d4f, and 4p 5 4d 3 configurations of the ion W 36+ . The transition wavelengths, spontaneous transition probabilities, oscillator strengths, and line strengths for the electric dipole, electric quadrupole, electric octupole, and magnetic dipole transitions among the levels of these configurations are tabulated.

Update of the development progress of the high power LPP-EUV light source using a magnetic field

TL;DR: Gigaphoton Inc. as mentioned in this paper developed a laser produced plasma (LPP) extreme ultra violet (EUV) light source for high-volummanufacturing (HVM) semiconductor lithography.

Environmental Liquid Cell Technique for Improved Electron Microscopic Imaging of Soft Matter in Solution.

TL;DR: This work describes a variation of the conventional approach, wherein the Si3N4 windows are separated by a 10-μm-thick spacer, thus providing room for gas flow inside the liquid specimen enclosure, and demonstrates controllable liquid thicknesses in the range 160 ± 34 to 340 ± 71 nm resulting in corresponding edge resolutions of 0.7 ± 0.8 nm.

Relativistic mask method for electron momentum distributions after ionization of hydrogen-like ions in strong laser fields.

TL;DR: In this paper, the relativistic mask method was used to calculate the electron energy spectra and angular distributions for highly charged ions under different ionization regimes with both the direct and the relative mask methods.

Superheavy Nuclei to Hypernuclei: A Tribute to Walter Greiner

TL;DR: In nuclear physics, superheavy and hypernuclei are two of the most important fields of research as mentioned in this paper, and the prediction of islands of superheavy elements by the Frankfurt school played a key role in extending the periodic table of elements up to atomic number 118.

The theory of atomic structure and spectra

TL;DR: In this article, the Slater-Condon theory of atomic structure and spectra is combined with a coherent set of closed-form equations suitable both for computer calculations on cases of arbitrary complexity and for hand calculations for very simple cases.
