Modeling of the Dynamics Adsorption of Phenol from an Aqueous Solution on Activated Carbon Produced from Olive Stones
TL;DR: In this article, a continuous fixed bed study was carried out by using granular activated carbon produced from olive stone for the removal of phenol from aqueous solution, and the effects of initial phenol concentration (40-250 mg/l), feed flow rate (2.2-8.4 ml/min) and activated carbon bed depth (5-20 cm) on the breakthrough characteristics of the adsorption system were determined.

Simultaneous Continuous Removal of Cr(VI) and Phenol from Binary Synthetic Simulated Waste Water in Tea Waste Packed Bed Column: Kinetic Modeling
TL;DR: In this paper, simultaneous co-adsorption of Cr(VI) and phenol was carried out in a continuous packed-bed reactor packed with tea waste biomass, and the experiments were carried out using binary synthetic simulated solution.

Development of Household Defluoridation Unit Based on Crushed Burnt Clay Pot as Sorbent Medium: A Case of Keren Community, Eritrea
TL;DR: Crushed burnt clay pot is suitable low cost adsorbent to remove fluoride from water using crushed burnt clayPot as a sorbent medium was studied in a packed column and the performance of the pilot column agreed with that obtained from the mini column.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optimization of the column studies into the adsorption of basic dye using tartaric acid-treated bagasse
TL;DR: In this paper, the use of tartaric acid-modified bagasse for the continuous adsorption of methylene blue (MB) dye in columns was examined, and the adsorbent was characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy.

Adsorption of fluoride from aqueous solution by Bio-F sorbent: a fixed-bed column study
TL;DR: In this paper, the adsorption potential of Bio-F to remove fluoride from aqueous solution was investigated using fixed-bed adaption column, and the results fitted well to the Adam's-Bohart and Yoon-Nelson models with low sum of square errors.
