TLDR
The RNA replicating enzyme induced by RNA phage Qβ consists of a single phage specific and three host specific polypeptide chains, and none are known subunits of E. coli DNA-dependent RNA polymerase.
Abstract
The RNA replicating enzyme induced by RNA phage Qβ consists of a single phage specific and three host specific polypeptide chains. At least one of the host subunits is shown to be essential for enzymatic activity, and none are known subunits of E. coli DNA-dependent RNA polymerase.

Complete nucleotide sequence of bacteriophage MS2 RNA: primary and secondary structure of the replicase gene.

TL;DR: The complete, primary chemical structure of a viral genome has now been established and biological properties, such as ribosome binding and codon interactions can now be discussed on a molecular basis.

The concept of parasite-derived resistance—Deriving resistance genes from the parasite's own genome

TL;DR: A broadly-applicable strategy for genetically engineering resistance to parasites involves deriving resistance genes from the genome of the parasite itself, and the QB bacteriophage is used to illustrate, specifically, how parasite-derived resistance might be engineered.

Analysis of C14-labeled proteins by disc electrophoresis

TL;DR: This report presents an alternative procedure involving autoradiography of dried longitudinal gel slices that is relatively uncomplicated and can be used to develop the entire pattern of radioactivity in a gel without significant sacrifice of resolution.
