Kinetic study of the reaction between sodium chloroacetate and potassium ethylxanthogenate

TL;DR: In this article, the reaction kinetics of the synthesis of sodium ethyl xanthogeneacetate from potassium ethylxanthogenate and sodium chloroacetate in distilled water as the reaction medium at 25, 30, 35 and 40 °C were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Determination of NADH2-ferricyanide oxidoreductase (cytochrome b5 reductase, diaphorase) activity of human erythrocytes by an analysis of the time-dependence of NADH2 oxidation.

TL;DR: Findings indicate that human erythrocyte diaphorase has a Km value for NADH2 by far higher than, and for ferricyanide by far lower than, the concentration of the substrates used, i.e. 0.1 and 0.2 mmol/l, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Kinetics and mechanism of the formation of CoIII(salen-type) complexes containing a nonstabilized pyridinium ylide as axial ligand: Computational and experimental studies

TL;DR: In this article, the ylide carbon atom has lower orbital occupancies in the cyclized complex, thus making it more susceptible to a nucleophilic attack of pyridine.

Physicochemical and Spectral Characterization of Biofield Energy Treated 4-Methylbenzoic Acid

TL;DR: In this article, the impact of biofield energy treatment on physicochemical and spectral properties of 4-MBA compounds was analyzed with respect to the control and treated samples using various analytical techniques, including X-ray diffraction, surface area analysis, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), and UV-visible spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Development and validation of kinetic and atomic absorption spectrophotometric methods for the determination of salbutamol sulfate

TL;DR: In this paper, two sensitive kinetic and atomic absorption spectrophotometric (AAS) methods were developed for the determination of salbutamol sulfate (SLS) in its dosage forms.
