Synthesis and cycloaromatization kinetics of aromatic allene enynes

TL;DR: Aryl and cyclopropyl-substituted allene enynes were prepared by a double olefination procedure from various aldehydes, and their cycloaromatization reactions were subjected to kinetics measurements in methanol and 1,4-cyclohexadiene solvents as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Identification and control of a degradation product in Avapro film-coated tablet: low dose formulation.

TL;DR: A degradation product was formed during the long-term stability studies (LTSS) of the low dose formulation of Avapro™ film-coated tablet, irbesartan.
Journal ArticleDOI

New nitrophenyl-substituted polyperoxotungstate catalyst: A more active and selective for the oxidation of sulfides by hydrogen peroxide

TL;DR: In this article, the catalytic activity of phenylphosphopolyperoxotungstate complexes was investigated in CH3OH/H2O mixed solvents, where the presence of a nitro group increases the electrophilicity of the catalyst and leads to a higher activity and selectivity for the oxidation of sulfides to sulfoxides by H2O2.
Journal ArticleDOI

π-Ligand Exchange on Phosphenium Ions: Reversible Exchange between Free and Coordinated Alkynes in Phosphirenium Salts

TL;DR: In this paper, the rate of reversible alkyne exchange between 1-methyl-1,2,3-triphenylphosphirenium triflate and ethylphenylacetylene, and that of the reverse reaction between 2-ethyl-1-methyl, 1,2-3-diphenyl-phosphine triflates and diphenylacetane, were investigated.

Early events of pepsinogen activation

Henry E. Auer, +1 more
- 05 Jun 1984 -
TL;DR: Stopped-flow measurements both with native pig pepsinogen and with a fluorescent derivative, labeled near the carboxyl terminus with a toluidinylnaphthalenesulfonyl group at Lys364, show rapid fluorescence changes following acidification, and it is concluded that the two processes represent concurrent events, rather than sequential ones.
