Journal Article

Occurrence of enterotoxins, Exfoliative Toxins and Toxic Shock Syndrome Toxin-1 genes in Staphylococcus aureus and CoNS isolated from clinical and food samples in Algeria.

TL;DR: This study analyzed 51 strains isolated from food samples and 45 strains originated from clinical cases to determine the occurrence of toxin-genes carried by strains of Staphylococcus aureus and Coagulase Negative Stphylococci in Algeria.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of Propolis addition to broiler feeds on some blood biochemical parameters and intestinal flora.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the efficiency of adding propolis to broiler feeds and the effect on some biochemical and biological parameters represented by its effect on the total bacterial count of intestinal flora as well as the antimicrobial effect on Escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus and lactobacillus.
Journal ArticleDOI

Subclinical bovine mastitis associated with Staphylococcus spp. in eleven Uruguayan dairy farms.

TL;DR: In this article , a study aimed to assess the presence of staphylococcal subclinical mastitis (SCM) in Uruguayan dairy farms and to identify Staphococcus aureus (SA) and non-aureus staphymus (NAS) in milking cows.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isolation of aerobic bacteria from ticks infested sheep in Iraq

TL;DR: The high isolation rate of aerobic pathogens from ticks might reflect the active contribution of this arthropod in environmental contamination and increase the probability of transmitting bacterial pathogens to their hosts.
Journal ArticleDOI

Acute Phase Proteins in Staphylococcus aureus Positive Milks

TL;DR: In infected milks, total protein elevation is an expected result due to the presence of somatic cell and bacteria, but it had no statistical significance, which suggests that haptoglobin and serum amyloid A are more sensitive indicators in subclinical mastitis and may be beneficial in clinical practice.
