Multilocus Sequencing of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis Biotype Ovis Strains.

TL;DR: The in silico analysis of the 16 frequently studied housekeeping genes showed that C. pseudotuberculosis strains could be readily distinguished from C. diphtheriae and C. ulcerans strains; however, sequences of the same genes in the two biotypes of the C. Pseudotuber tuberculosis were highly similar; the heterogeneity values were low.

Yeast mastitis outbreak in a Brazilian dairy herd

TL;DR: An outbreak of bovine mastitis caused by yeast in a dairy herd located in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil was described and appropriate management measures, specific treatment with antifungal drugs and removal of chronically infected animals were effective for the control of mastitis outbreak.
