Investigation of the oxygen affinity of manganese(II), cobalt(II) and nickel(II) complexes with some tetradentate Schiff bases

TL;DR: In this article, the tetradentate Schiff base ligands were obtained by condensation reaction of ethylenediamine with salcyldehyde, o -hydroxyacetophenone or acetylacetone in the molar ratio 1:2.
Journal ArticleDOI

Determination of Tetracycline in Pharmaceutical Preparation by Molecular and Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry and High Performance Liquid Chromatography via Complex Formation with Au(III) and Hg(II) Ions in Solutions

TL;DR: UV-visible and atomic spectrophotometry and HPLC techniques were applied for the determination of tetracycline in pharmaceutical preparations via complexation of the drug with Au(III) and Hg(II) ions in solutions.

Oxidation of the InSb surface at room temperature

TL;DR: In this paper, the formation and composition of room-temperature surface oxides on (110) orientated InSb samples was studied with ESCA and AES with four surface preparation techniques: free etching, mechanical polishing, chemo-mechanical polishing and anodic oxidation.

Flue gas scrubbing and waste heat recovery system

TL;DR: In this paper, a system and method for the reduction of NOx in a flue gas is described, in which a P4 in water liquid/liquid emulsion is injected into the flue gases to induce phosphorus-accelerated oxidation of the NO in the gas, and NO2 and phosphorus oxides are subsequently removed from the gas stream at a location sufficiently downstream of the injection site.
