TLDR
A specific submodel is developed to simulate the distributed transpiration and microclimate during plants grown in pots inside greenhouses under water restriction conditions and the ability of the model to correctly predict transpiration, air and leaf temperatures as well as air humidity inside the greenhouse for both water regimes is shown.

CFD analysis for evaluating and optimizing spatial distribution of CO2 concentration in a strawberry greenhouse under different CO2 enrichment methods

TL;DR: 3D computational fluid dynamics models for CO2 enrichment methods in a strawberry greenhouse found that crop-local enrichment can increase CO2 concentration only around crops albeit with less effect on those at the upper part of the greenhouse.

A closed-form equation for predicting the hydraulic conductivity of unsaturated soils

TL;DR: Van Genuchten et al. as mentioned in this paper proposed a closed-form analytical expression for predicting the hydraulic conductivity of unsaturated soils based on the Mualem theory, which can be used to predict the unsaturated hydraulic flow and mass transport in unsaturated zone.

The numerical computation of turbulent flows

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a review of the applicability and applicability of numerical predictions of turbulent flow, and advocate that computational economy, range of applicability, and physical realism are best served by turbulence models in which the magnitudes of two turbulence quantities, the turbulence kinetic energy k and its dissipation rate ϵ, are calculated from transport equations solved simultaneously with those governing the mean flow behaviour.

The Interpretation of the Variations in Leaf Water Potential and Stomatal Conductance Found in Canopies in the Field

TL;DR: In this paper, the stomatal conductance of illuminated leaves is a function of current levels of temperature, vapour pressure deficit, leaf water potential (really turgor pressure) and ambient CO $_2$ concentration and when plotted against any one of these variables a scatter diagram results.
