TLDR
Titanium silicate-1 (TS-1) was treated with a mixed alkaline of tetrapropyl ammonium hydroxide (TPAOH) and NaOH.Abstract:
Titanium silicate-1 (TS-1) was treated with a mixed alkaline of tetrapropyl ammonium hydroxide (TPAOH) and NaOH. It was characterized by XRD, nitrogen physical adsorption, SEM, FT-IR, UV–Vis and ICP-OES, and studied in propylene epoxidation. The mixed alkaline treatment with TPAOH/NaOH solution did not destroy the MFI structure of TS-1. With increasing NaOH concentrations, the relative crystallinity and the framework titanium decreased to some extent while the mesopore volume, mesopore diameter, and extra-framework titanium increased appreciably. When NaOH concentration was 0.0333 mol L−1, the best catalytic performance was obtained.read more

Recent Advances in the Direct Synthesis of H2O2
TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss the key problems that remain and conclude that although there has been progress with respect to the selectivity of hydrogen utilisation, there is a need to now concentrate on catalyst activity as the key remaining problem requiring a solution is the concentration of H2O2 that can be achieved especially in flow reactors.

Continuous Flow Microreactor Promoted the Catalytic N-Oxidation Reaction of Pyridine Derivatives
TL;DR: In this paper , a simple continuous flow microreactor was successfully constructed for the N-oxidation of pyridine, which used titanium silicalite (TS-1) in a packed-bed micro-reactor and H2O2 (in methanol as solvent) as the catalytic oxidation system.

Preparation of porous crystalline synthetic material comprised of silicon and titanium oxides
TL;DR: In this paper, a porous crystalline synthetic material constituted by silicon and titanium oxides, called titanium silicalite or TS-1, is described. But the use of this material as a catalyst is restricted to a specific application, such as alkylation of toluene with methanol or benzene with ethylene or ethanol.

Reaction-controlled phase-transfer catalysis for propylene epoxidation to propylene oxide
TL;DR: O2 can be used for the epoxidation of propylene to propylene oxide with 85% yield based on 2-ethylanthrahydroquinone without any co- products, which avoids the problematic co-products normally associated with the industrial production of Propylene oxide.

Synthesis, crystallization mechanism, and catalytic properties of titanium-rich TS-1 free of extraframework titanium species.
TL;DR: A new route to the synthesis of TS-1 has been developed using (NH4)2CO3 as a crystallization-mediating agent and it seems that the solid-phase transformation mechanism predominated in the crystallization process initiated by dissociation, reorganization, and recoalescence of the solidified gel, resulting in a more homogeneous distribution of Ti in the framework.
