Abstract
In previous work we proposed a field theory model for multiple M2-branes based on an algebra with a totally antisymmetric triple product. In this paper we gauge a symmetry that arises from the algebra's triple product. We then construct a supersymmetric theory with no free parameters that is consistent with all the continuous symmetries expected of a multiple M2-brane theory: 16 supersymmetries, conformal invariance, and an SO(8) R-symmetry that acts on the eight transverse scalars. The gauge field is not dynamical. The result is a new type of maximally supersymmetric gauge theory in three dimensions.

On the exact R charge for \mathcal{N} = 2 CS theories

TL;DR: In this paper, the exact R charge for SU(n) = 2 for 3D supersymmetric field theories extremizes the partition function localized on S = 3 for many representations, and test the agreement with the perturbative results.

Scattering in ABJ theories

TL;DR: In this article, the correspondence between scattering amplitudes and Wilson loops in three-dimensional Chern-Simons matter theories was studied, and it was shown that Wilson loops/scattering amplitudes duality might work.

Probing AdS4/CFT3 proposals beyond chiral rings

TL;DR: In this article, the superconformal Witten index for the Chern-Simons-matter theory was calculated for a variant of this model which exhibits explicit supersymmetry and has the advantage of not having an exotic branch of the moduli space.

Superconformal Chern-Simons theories

TL;DR: In this paper, a Lagrangian description of a maximally supersymmetric conformal field theory in three dimensions was constructed recently by Bagger and Lambert (BL), which has SO(4) gauge symmetry and contains scalar and spinor fields that transform as 4-vectors.

N = 8 Superconformal Chern--Simons Theories

TL;DR: In this paper, the possibilities for constructing Lagrangian descriptions of three-dimensional superconformal classical gauge theories that contain a Chern-Simons term, but no kinetic term, for the gauge fields are explored.
