IgG4-Related Disease Presenting as Cervical Lymphadenopathy.

TL;DR: The differential diagnosis of IgG4-RD should always be considered when sclerosing sialadenitis is presented with cervical lymphadenopathy, and marked elevation of serum IgG 4 levels and pathological evidence of Ig g4+ and Igg4+ plasma cell infiltration in the lymph node specimen is considered.

Enfermedad relacionada con IgG4: ¿es el rituximab la mejor estrategia terapéutica en los casos refractarios a terapia convencional? Resultados de una revisión sistemática

TL;DR: To evaluate effectiveness related to the response to treatment with rituximab in patients with IgG4 related disease refractory to steroids and other immunosuppressant therapies.

Increased Circulating Th1 and Tfh1 Cell Numbers Are Associated with Disease Activity in Glucocorticoid-Treated Patients with IgG4-Related Disease.

TL;DR: Increased circulating Th1 and Tfh1 subsets are related to elevated serum IgG4 levels in active IgG 4-RD patients during glucocorticoid treatment, which may play an important role in the course of IgG3-RD disease, and could be potential biomarkers for monitoring disease activity of Igg4-RD.

TH1 and TH2 cells: different patterns of lymphokine secretion lead to different functional properties.

TL;DR: Two types of cloned helper T cells are described, defined primarily by differences in the pattern of lymphokines ynthesized, and the different functions of the two types of cells and their lymphokine synthesis are discussed.

Differentiation of Effector CD4 T Cell Populations

TL;DR: This review summarizes the discovery, functions, and relationships among Th cells; the cytokine and signaling requirements for their development; the networks of transcription factors involved in their differentiation; the epigenetic regulation of their key cytokines and transcription factors; and human diseases involving defective CD4 T cell differentiation.

Alternative Activation of Macrophages: An Immunologic Functional Perspective

TL;DR: The cellular sources of these cytokines, receptor signaling pathways, and induced markers and gene signatures are reviewed and the concept of macrophage activation in the context of the immune response is revisit.

The regulation of IL-10 production by immune cells

TL;DR: Understanding the specific molecular events that regulate the production of IL-10 will help to answer the remaining questions that are important for the design of new strategies of immune intervention.

High serum IgG4 concentrations in patients with sclerosing pancreatitis.

TL;DR: Patients with sclerosing pancreatitis have high serum IgG4 concentrations, providing a useful means of distinguishing this disorder from other diseases of the pancreas or biliary tract.
