Interaction-driven localization in holography

TLDR
In this paper, a periodic lattice was introduced to a holographic model developed by string theorists to study anisotropic materials that are insulating in certain directions but conducting in others.
Abstract
Strongly interacting condensed-matter systems are often computationally intractable. By introducing a periodic lattice to a holographic model developed by string theorists, it becomes possible to study anisotropic materials that are insulating in certain directions but conducting in others.

A simple model of momentum relaxation in Lifshitz holography

TL;DR: In this article, the authors extended the holographic studies of momentum relaxation to include non-relativistic scaling symmetries in the ultraviolet, by constructing black branes with Lifshitz asymptotics dressed with axions which explicitly depend on the boundary directions.

Anisotropic plasmas from axion and dilaton deformations.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors constructed black hole solutions of type IIB supergravity that are holographically dual to anisotropic plasmas arising from deformations of an infinite class of four-dimensional CFTs.

Aspects of massive ABJM models with inhomogeneous mass parameters

TL;DR: In this paper, a lower supersymmetric mass-deformed ABJM model with arbitrary mass-function depending on a spatial coordinate was constructed, which requires three and two arbitrary mass functions, respectively.
