Tensile yield properties of starch-filled poly(ester amide) materials

TL;DR: In this article, composite materials were prepared with granular corn starch (CS) or potato starch (PS) and poly(ester amide) resin (PEA), with starch volume fractions ( ϕ ) up to 0.40.

Crosslinkable poly(vinyl acetate)/clay nanocomposite films cast from soap‐free emulsion‐polymerized latices

TL;DR: The glass transition temperature of the crosslinked P(VAc-co-GMA)/MMT nanocomposite films was higher than that of the PVAc/MMT counterparts as discussed by the authors.

Structure and Properties of Novel Asymmetric Biphenyl Type Polyimides

TL;DR: In this article, the degrees of molecular orientation, film densities, and dynamic mechanical properties of asymmetric biphenyl type polyimides (PI) were compared with those of familiar PIs based on symmetric 3, 4, 3, 3′, 4′- biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride (a-BPDA) and p-phenylenediamine (PDA) or 4, 4-oxydianiline (ODA).
