Studies on pH and thermal deactivation of pectolytic enzymes from Aspergillus niger

TLDR
The addition of protein doubled the half-life times of partially purified PMG, PG I and PG II and the interaction effect of pectolytic enzymes on deactivation was found to be significant.

Analytical determination of the optimal temperature profiles for the reactions occurring in the presence of microorganism cells

TL;DR: In this article, a course of simple enzymatic reactions in a batch reactor in the presence of the whole cells of microorganisms has been analyzed and a possibility of analytical determination of the optimal temperature profiles has been pointed out.

An analysis of exo-polygalacturonase bioprocess in submerged and solid-state fermentation by Pleurotus ostreatus using pomelo peel powder as carbon source.

TL;DR: P. ostreatus performs much better in submerged fermentation as compared with solid-state fermentation in respect to ex-polygalacturonase production although ssf technique produced a more thermo-stable exo- polygalactonase in crude extract, which is highly desirable in various industrial applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced gellan gum production by hydrogen peroxide (H2O 2) induced oxidative stresses in Sphingomonas paucimobilis.

TL;DR: Gellan gum production was improved and cell growth was inhibited by H2O2 and UDP-glucose pyrophosphorylase activity and glucosyltransferase activity were increased with H2 O2 stresses.

Kinetic Modeling, Thermodynamic Approach and Molecular Dynamics Simulation of Thermal Inactivation of Lipases from Burkholderia cepacia and Rhizomucor miehei

TL;DR: Kinetic modeling showed that the first-order model and Weibull distribution were the best equations to describe the residual activity of Lipase PS and Palatase, respectively and indicated a higher thermal stability of Lipases PS compared to Palatases.

The Activated Complex in Chemical Reactions

TL;DR: In this paper, the probability of the activated state is calculated using ordinary statistical mechanics, and the probability multiplied by the rate of decomposition gives the specific rate of reaction, and necessary conditions for general statistical treatment to reduce to the usual kinetic treatment are given.
