TL;DR: To monitor the ability of flocs to settle in Sequencing Batch Reactor sludge, an automated image analysis procedure has been tested and it seems that the thixotropy and the Bingham viscosity distinguish poor settlement owing to some filamentous bulking.

TL;DR: It is shown that when the physiological filamentous myosin moves along actin filaments, the velocities cannot be explained by the prevailing theory, and it is concluded that V0 is limited by the actin–myosin attachment rate.
