Phase Center Corrections for BDS IGSO and MEO Satellites in IGb14 and IGSR3 Frame

Ziyang Qu, +2 more
- 18 Feb 2021 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the phase center variations (PCV) and phase center offset (PCO) values for GNSS medium earth orbit (MEO) and inclined geostationary orbit (IGSO) satellites are estimated to be consistent with GPS/GLONASS antenna offsets.

SLR validation and evaluation on BDS precise orbits from 2013 to 2018

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used satellite laser ranging (SLR) data over a 5-year time series to validate and evaluate the accuracy of the BeiDou Navigation System (BDS) using microwave-based precise orbits.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simulation of Inter-Satellite Link schemes for use in precise orbit determination and clock estimation

TL;DR: Establishing ISLs more often, with sampling interval on the level of 30 s or less, seems to be the most promising in improving the orbit determination, as well as reducing orbit errors in reference to GNSS-only solution from 30% to 40%.
Journal ArticleDOI

Augment BeiDou real-time precise point positioning using ECMWF data

TL;DR: In this article, the authors applied the tropospheric delay information derived from the European Centre of Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) analysis and prediction data, into the simulated real-time BeiDou-only and BeiDou/GPS PPP to augment the solutions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Demonstrating developments in high-fidelity analytical radiation force modelling methods for spacecraft with a new model for GPS IIR/IIR-M

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of various orbit model parameters in a full-orbit estimation process that uses tracking data from 100 stations is examined, and the results show that using a grid-based model for the orbit determination process reduces mean 3D orbit overlap values by 9% and the noise about the mean orbit overlap value by 4%, when comparing against orbits estimated using a simpler box-wing model of the spacecraft.

The International GNSS Service in a changing landscape of Global Navigation Satellite Systems

TL;DR: The IGS Strategic Plan and future directions of the globally-coordinated ~400 station IGS network, tracking data and information products, and outlines the scope of a few of its numerous working groups and pilot projects as the world anticipates a truly multi-system GNSS in the coming decade are discussed.

Precise Point Positioning Using IGS Orbit and Clock Products

TL;DR: This paper will describe the approach, summarize the adjustment procedure, and specify the earth- and space-based models that must be implemented to achieve cm-level positioning in static mode and station tropospheric zenth path delays with cm precision.
