New forms of QCD matter discovered at RHIC

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that an equilibrated but strongly coupled quark-gluon plasma has been made in such collisions and that its source is a color glass condensate.

The QCD equation of state with dynamical quarks

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the QCD equation of state with 2+1 staggered flavors and one-link stout improvement, and compared their results to the results obtained by the hotQCD collaboration.

Critical point of QCD at finite T and μ, lattice results for physical quark masses

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied dynamical QCD with nf=2+1 staggered quarks of physical masses on Lt = 4 lattices and obtained TE = 162±2 MeV and μE = 360±40 MeV.

Hybrid Molecular Dynamics Algorithms for the Numerical Simulation of Quantum Chromodynamics

TL;DR: Two algorithms for the numerical simulation of SU(3) lattice gauge theory with dynamical quarks are discussed, based on the hybrid stochastic method of Duane and Kogut, which allow the simulation of arbitrary numbers of quarks.

Massive gluons and quarks and the equation of state obtained from SU(3) lattice QCD

TL;DR: In this article, a phenomenological parametrization for the quark-gluon plasma equation of state based on a quasiparticle picture with massive quarks and gluons was proposed.

Massive quasiparticle model of the SU(3) gluon plasma.

TL;DR: The temperature dependence of the Debye screening mass is estimated and it is found that it declines sharply when approaching the confinement temperature from above, while the thermal mass continuously rises.

Hard thermal loop resummation of the free energy of a hot gluon plasma

TL;DR: In this article, the free energy of a hot gluon plasma to leading order in hard-thermal-loop perturbation theory is calculated and the effects associated with screening, gluons quasiparticles, and Landau damping are resummed to all orders.
