Recent regional climate cooling on the Antarctic Peninsula and associated impacts on the cryosphere.

TL;DR: It is shown that Faraday/Vernadsky warming trend is an extreme case, circa twice those of the long-term records from other parts of the northern AP, and the results indicate that the cooling initiated in 1998/1999 has been most significant in the N and NE of the AP and the South Shetland Islands.

TL;DR: Direct and indirect effects of temperature were the main drivers of the spatial distribution in the toxins produced by the cyanobacterial community, the toxin concentrations and toxin quota, and a Toxin Diversity Index (TDI) increased with latitude, while it decreased with water stability.
