TL;DR: This paper describes how the VAMDC Consortium is organised for the optimal distribution of atomic and molecular data for scientific research and urges authors of research papers using data cite the original experimental and theoretical papers as well as the relevant databases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Calculated total cross sections of electron-impact ionization and excitations in tetrahedral (XY~4) and SF~6 molecules (6 pages)
TL;DR: In this paper, total inelastic cross sections determined in the complex potential formalism are partitioned to account for the ionization and cumulative electronic-excitation channels, and the present total cross sections and total ionization cross sections are found to be consistent with the previous data.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: The current limitations that prevent VAMDC from becoming the main publishing platform and the main source of A&M data for user communities are discussed, and possible solutions under investigation by the consortium are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electron impact total and ionization cross-sections for some hydrocarbon molecules and radicals
TL;DR: In this paper, the impact total and ionization cross-sections were calculated using SCOP and CSP-ic methods for the hydrocarbon molecules (CH4, C 2H2, C2H4, CO2H6, CO3H6 and CO3HO6) and radicals (CHx (x=1-3) for the radical species.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electron scattering and ionization of ozone, O2 and O4 molecules
TL;DR: In this article, total cross sections (TCSs) including ionization cross sections for the impact of intermediate and high energy electrons on ozone as well as O, O2 and O4 targets are calculated and compared with available measurements.
