Einstein@Home discovery of four young gamma-ray pulsars in Fermi LAT data

TL;DR: The first gamma-ray pulsars were found by volunteer computing via Einstein@Home and methods originally developed in gravitational-wave astronomy as mentioned in this paper, and the pulsars PSRs J0554+3107, J1422-6138, J1522-5735, and J1932+1916 were detected in computing-intensive blind searches of data from the Fermi Large Area Telescope (LAT).
Journal ArticleDOI

CHANDRA OBSERVATIONS of OUTFLOWS from PSR J1509-5850

TL;DR: In this article, Chandra X-ray observations of a pulsar and its pulsar wind nebula (PWN) were used to estimate the physical parameters of the observed outflows and compare the J1509-5850 PWN with other supersonically moving pulsars.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Second Chromatic Timing Event of Interstellar Origin toward PSR J1713+0747

TL;DR: In this paper, the frequency dependence of radio pulse arrival times provides a probe of structures in the intervening media, and the likeliest scenario to be lensing of the radio emission by some structure in the interstellar medium, which causes multiple frequency-dependent pulse arrival-time delays.
