Einstein@Home discovery of four young gamma-ray pulsars in Fermi LAT data
Holger J. Pletsch,Lucas Guillemot,Lucas Guillemot,Benjamin William Allen,Dustin Anderson,C. Aulbert,O. Bock,David Champion,H.-B. Eggenstein,H.-B. Eggenstein,H. Fehrmann,D. Hammer,Ramesh Karuppusamy,Michael Keith,Michael Kramer,Michael Kramer,B. Machenschalk,Cherry Ng,M. A. Papa,Paul S. Ray,X. Siemens +20 more
TL;DR: The first gamma-ray pulsars were found by volunteer computing via Einstein@Home and methods originally developed in gravitational-wave astronomy as mentioned in this paper, and the pulsars PSRs J0554+3107, J1422-6138, J1522-5735, and J1932+1916 were detected in computing-intensive blind searches of data from the Fermi Large Area Telescope (LAT).
Journal ArticleDOI
CHIME/FRB Detection of the Original Repeating Fast Radio Burst Source FRB 121102

Tendulkar,Keith Vanderlinde,P. Yadav,A. V. Zwaniga +45 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported the detection of a single burst from the first-discovered repeating Fast Radio Burst source, FRB 121102, with CHIME/FRB, which operates in the frequency band 400-800 MHz.
Journal ArticleDOI
CHANDRA OBSERVATIONS of OUTFLOWS from PSR J1509-5850
TL;DR: In this article, Chandra X-ray observations of a pulsar and its pulsar wind nebula (PWN) were used to estimate the physical parameters of the observed outflows and compare the J1509-5850 PWN with other supersonically moving pulsars.
Journal ArticleDOI
Deep chandra observations of the pulsar wind nebula created by psr b0355+54
Noel Klingler,Blagoy Rangelov,Oleg Kargaltsev,George G. Pavlov,Roger W. Romani,Bettina Posselt,Patrick Slane,Tea Temim,Tea Temim,Cherry Ng,Niccolò Bucciantini,Andrei M. Bykov,Andrei M. Bykov,Douglas A. Swartz,R. Buehler +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, Chandra X-ray Observatory (CXO) observations of the pulsar wind nebula (PWN) associated with PSR B0355+54 (eight observations with a 395 ks total exposure, performed over an 8 month period).
Journal ArticleDOI
A Second Chromatic Timing Event of Interstellar Origin toward PSR J1713+0747

Stinebring,Kevin Stovall,Joseph K. Swiggum,Sarah J. Vigeland,Wenbai Zhu,Wenbai Zhu +39 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the frequency dependence of radio pulse arrival times provides a probe of structures in the intervening media, and the likeliest scenario to be lensing of the radio emission by some structure in the interstellar medium, which causes multiple frequency-dependent pulse arrival-time delays.
