Rosen,Xiaowei Song,Anita C. van Loenhoud +34 more
TL;DR: The reserve, resilience, and protective factors professional interest area established a whitepaper workgroup to develop consensus definitions for cognitive reserve, brain reserve, and brain maintenance and evaluated measures that have been used to implement these concepts in research settings and developed guidelines for research that explores or utilizes these concepts.
Journal ArticleDOI
Associations of Social Isolation with Anxiety and Depression During the Early COVID-19 Pandemic: A Survey of Older Adults in London, UK
Catherine Robb,Celeste A. de Jager,Sara Ahmadi-Abhari,Parthenia Giannakopoulou,Chinedu T. Udeh-Momoh,James McKeand,Geraint Price,Josip Car,Josip Car,Azeem Majeed,Azeem Majeed,Helen Ward,Helen Ward,Lefkos T. Middleton,Lefkos T. Middleton +14 more

Rosen,Nikolaos Scarmeas,Anja Soldan,Chinedu T. Udeh-Momoh,Michael Valenzuela,Eero Vuoksimaa +25 more
TL;DR: The article provides definitions for reserve and maintenance along with a detailed description of compensatory mechanisms from a cognitive ageing perspective, and represents a muchneeded effort to refine the definitions for various forms of compensation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cortisol hypersecretion and the risk of Alzheimer's disease: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Bang Zheng,Roy Tal,Zhirong Yang,Lefkos T. Middleton,Chinedu T. Udeh-Momoh,Chinedu T. Udeh-Momoh +5 more
TL;DR: Morning cortisol was confirmed to be moderately elevated in AD patients and may have diagnostic and prognostic values for AD.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cortisol, Amyloid-β, and Reserve Predicts Alzheimer's Disease Progression for Cognitively Normal Older Adults.
Chinedu T. Udeh-Momoh,Chinedu T. Udeh-Momoh,Bowen Su,Stephanie Evans,Bang Zheng,Shireen Sindi,Shireen Sindi,Ioanna Tzoulaki,Robert Perneczky,Robert Perneczky,Lefkos T. Middleton +10 more
TL;DR: Findings indicate that cortisol hypersecretion accelerates clinical progression in CN individuals presenting with pathological Aβ42, and high reserve reduces the associated AD progression risk in these high-risk individuals.
