Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular Diffusivity of Click Reaction Components: The Diffusion Enhancement Question
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the molecular diffusivity of reactants, catalyst, and product of a model reaction, the copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition click reaction, and developed new NMR diffusion approaches that allow the probing of reaction-induced diffusion enhancement in nanosized molecular systems with higher accuracy than the state of the art.
Journal ArticleDOI
Transmembrane signaling and cytoplasmic signal conversion by dimeric transmembrane helix 2 and a linker domain of the DcuS sensor kinase.
Marius Stopp,Philipp Aloysius Steinmetz,Christopher Schubert,Christian Griesinger,Dirk Schneider,Gottfried Unden +5 more
TL;DR: The results suggest piston-type TM signaling by the TM2 homodimer from PASP across the full TM region, whereas the fumarate-destabilized linker dimer converts the signal on the cytoplasmic side for PASC and kinase regulation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photophysics of diphenyl-pyrazole compounds in solutions and α-synuclein aggregates.
Anne Reiner,Felix Schmidt,Sergey Ryazanov,Andrei Leonov,Daniel Weckbecker,Andreas A. Deeg,Christian Griesinger,Armin Giese,Wolfgang Zinth +8 more
TL;DR: The binding site of the DPP anle138b in protein aggregates is characterized and contribute to the understanding of the therapeutic mode of action of this compound.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spontaneous Enhancement of Magnetic Resonance Signals Using a RASER.
Sergey Korchak,Lukas Kaltschnee,Riza Dervisoglu,Loren B. Andreas,Christian Griesinger,Stefan Glöggler +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a combination of para-hydrogen enhanced magnetic resonance with the phenomenon of the RASER was introduced, where large signals of solvent molecules interact with the magnetic resonance coil in a way that the signal is spontaneously converted into an in-phase signal.
Journal ArticleDOI
Iron-mediated aggregation and toxicity in a novel neuronal cell culture model with inducible alpha-synuclein expression
Martin Bartels,Daniel Weckbecker,Peer-Hendrik Kuhn,Sergey Ryazanov,Andrei Leonov,Andrei Leonov,Christian Griesinger,Christian Griesinger,Stefan F. Lichtenthaler,Kai Bötzel,Armin Giese +10 more
TL;DR: A system for the creation of inducibly αSyn-overexpressing cell lines holding high potential for the screening for modulators of αSyn aggregation and α synuclein-mediated toxicity is presented.
