Wershil,Ting Wen,Guang Yu Yang,Ikuo Hirano,Albert J. Bredenoord +65 more
TL;DR: An updated diagnostic algorithm for EoE was developed, with removal of the PPI trial requirement, and the evidence suggests that PPIs are better classified as a treatment for esophageal eosinophilia that may be due to EOE than as a diagnostic criterion.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mutations in the cationic trypsinogen gene and evidence for genetic heterogeneity in hereditary pancreatitis
Claude Férec,Odile Raguenes,Rémi Salomon,C Roche,J P Bernard,M Guillot,Isabelle Quéré,Christophe Faure,Bernard Mercier,Marie-Pierre Audrézet,P J Guillausseau,Christophe Dupont,Arnold Munnich,Jean-Denis Bignon,L Le Bodic +14 more
TL;DR: The findings confirm the implication of the cationic trypsinogen gene in HP and highlight allelic diversity associated with this phenotype and show that the pattern of inheritance of HP is probably complex and that other genes may be involved in this genetic disease.
Journal ArticleDOI
A proposition for the diagnosis and treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease in children: a report from a working group on gastro-oesophageal reflux disease
Yvan Vandenplas,A. Ashkenazi,Dominique Charles Belli,N. Boige,J. Bouquet,Samy Cadranel,J.-P. Cezard,Salvatore Cucchiara,Christophe Dupont,Karel Geboes,Frédéric Gottrand,Hugo S. A. Heymans,C. TL;DR: It is agreed that infants with uncomplicated gastro-oesophageal reflux can be safely treated before performing (expensive and often unnecessary) complementary investigations, however, the latter are mandatory if symptoms persist despite appropriate treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Knulst,Gisèle Kanny,Lynda C. Schneider,Marek L. Kowalski,Christophe Dupont,Christophe Dupont +25 more
TL;DR: A dose-ranging trial of a peanut patch in peanut-allergic patients and a double-blind, placebo-controlled food challenge to establish changes in eliciting dose to determine the optimal dose, adverse events (AEs), and efficacy of aanut patch for peanut allergy treatment.

A workshop report on the development of the Cow's Milk-related Symptom Score awareness tool for young children.
Yvan Vandenplas,Christophe Dupont,Philippe Eigenmann,Arne Høst,Mikael Kuitunen,Carmen Ribes-Koninckx,Neil Shah,Neil Shah,Raanan Shamir,Annamaria Staiano,Hania Szajewska,Andrea von Berg +11 more
TL;DR: The Cow's Milk‐related Symptom Score (CoMiSS), which considers general manifestations, dermatological, gastrointestinal and respiratory symptoms, was developed as an awareness tool for cow's milk‐related symptoms, can be used to evaluate and quantify the evolution of symptoms during therapeutic interventions, but its usefulness needs to be evaluated.
