A gene map of the human genome

Gregory D. Schuler, +104 more
- 25 Oct 1996 -
TL;DR: The gene map unifies the existing genetic and physical maps with the nucleotide and protein sequence databases in a fashion that should speed the discovery of genes underlying inherited human disease.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Radiation Hybrid Map of the Human Genome

TL;DR: The whole genome radiation hybrid panel developed by fusing irradiated diploid human fibroblasts with recipient hamster cells has been used as the starting material for the Genebridge4 panel, being made widely available for genome mapping projects.

Natural Chlordecone Degradation Revealed by Numerous Transformation Products Characterized in Key French West Indies Environmental Compartments.

TL;DR: Investigation of laboratory biodegradation of bacterial liquid cultures and microcosms inoculated with FWI soils shows that chlordecone pollution extends beyond the parent chlordicone molecule and includes a considerable number of previously undetected TPs, raising the possibility of extensive worldwide pollution of soil and aquatic ecosystems by chlordECone TPs.
