Broad-spectrum antibodies against self-antigens and cytokines in RAG deficiency

Jolan E. Walter, +57 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that patients with hypomorphic RAG mutations, especially those with delayed-onset combined immune deficiency and granulomatous/autoimmune manifestations (CID-G/AI), produce a broad spectrum of autoantibodies and indicates that environmental triggers may modulate the phenotypic expression of autoimmune manifestations.
Journal ArticleDOI

LPA5 Is an Inhibitory Receptor That Suppresses CD8 T-Cell Cytotoxic Function via Disruption of Early TCR Signaling.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that LPA engagement selectively by LPA5 on human and mouse CD8 T cells leads to the inhibition of several early TCR signaling events including intracellular calcium mobilization and ERK activation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Autoimmunity due to RAG deficiency and estimated disease incidence in RAG1/2 mutations.

TL;DR: In this article, a population genetic analysis was performed to estimate the incidence of disease caused by RAG1/2 homozygous or compound heterozygous mutations and found that the contribution of immune dysregulatory disease due to RAG 1/2 mutations present in the general population may be much higher than previously estimated.
