TL;DR: In this article, the authors present measurements of the Hubble diagram for 103 Type Ia supernovae with redshifts 0.04 < z < 0.42, discovered during the first season (Fall 2005) of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey-II (SDSS-II) Supernova Survey.

TL;DR: The first cosmological results from the ESSENCE supernova survey (Wood-Vasey and coworkers) are extended to a wider range of cosmology models including dynamical dark energy and nonstandard cosmologies as mentioned in this paper.

TL;DR: There is a persistent interest in extending cosmology beyond the standard model, ΛCDM, motivated by a range of apparently serious theoretical issues, involving such questions as the cosmological constant problem, the particle nature of dark matter, the validity of general relativity on large scales, the existence of anomalies in the CMB and on small scales, and the predictivity and testability of the inflationary paradigm as mentioned in this paper.
