TL;DR: Circulating endothelial cells (CECs) were enumerated in 20 healthy controls and 76 newly diagnosed cancer patients by means of 4-color flow cytometry and significantly correlated with plasma levels of vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 and vascular endothelial growth factor.

TL;DR: This pooled data analysis confirms the strong prognostic role of stromally located TILs in early-stage TNBC and excellent survival of patients with high sTILs after adjuvant chemotherapy and supports the integration of sTils in a clinicopathologic prognostic model for patients with TNBC.
