TL;DR: An integrative deep-sequencing analysis of 125 tumour–normal pairs enhances the understanding of the genomic complexity and heterogeneity underlying medulloblastoma, and provides several potential targets for new therapeutics, especially for Group 3 and 4 patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
The transcription factor Prox1 is a marker for lymphatic endothelial cells in normal and diseased human tissues
Jörg Wilting,Maria Papoutsi,Bodo Christ,Kypros H. Nicolaides,Constantin von Kaisenberg,J. Borges,G. Björn Stark,Kari Alitalo,Stanislav I. Tomarev,Charlotte M. Niemeyer,Jochen Rössler +10 more
TL;DR: It is shown that Prox1 is a reliable marker for LECs in normal and pathologic human tissues, coexpressed with VEGFR‐3 and CD31, which are less reliable markers for L ECs and BECs, respectively, because exceptions from their normal expression patterns are found in pathologic tissues.
Journal ArticleDOI
Efficacy of Propranolol in Hepatic Infantile Hemangiomas with Diffuse Neonatal Hemangiomatosis
Juliette Mazereeuw-Hautier,Peter H. Hoeger,Sarah Benlahrech,Amir Ammour,Pierre Broué,Julie Vial,Gerard Ohanessian,Christine Léauté-Labrèze,Marc Labenne,Pierre Vabres,Jochen Rössler,Christine Bodemer +11 more
TL;DR: The rapid and dramatic efficacy of propranolol was reported in 8 infants with infantile hepatic hemangiomas, with significant improvement in heart failure and hypothyroidism resolved, and hepatomegaly decreased.
Journal ArticleDOI
Congenital Dyserythropoietic Anemia Type I Is Caused by Mutations in Codanin-1
Orly Dgany,Orly Dgany,Nili Avidan,Jean Delaunay,Tatyana Krasnov,Tatyana Krasnov,Lea Shalmon,Lea Shalmon,Hanna Shalev,Tal Eidelitz-Markus,Joseph Kapelushnik,Daniel Cattan,Alexandre Pariente,Michel Tulliez,Aurore Crétien,Pierre-Olivier Schischmanoff,Achille Iolascon,Eithan Fibach,Ariel Koren,Jochen Rössler,Martine Le Merrer,I Yaniv,Rina Zaizov,Edna Ben-Asher,Tsvyia Olender,Doron Lancet,Jacques S. Beckmann,Hannah Tamary,Hannah Tamary +28 more
TL;DR: These findings, and the cellular phenotype, suggest that codanin-1 may be involved in nuclear envelope integrity, conceivably related to microtubule attachments, as well as underlies normal erythropoiesis.

The N-myc Oncogene in Human Neuroblastoma Cells: Down-Regulation of an Angiogenesis Inhibitor Identified as Activin A
Stephen Breit,Keith Ashman,Jörg Wilting,Jochen Rössler,Elissavet Hatzi,Theodore Fotsis,Lothar Schweigerer +6 more
TL;DR: Enhanced expression of the N-myc oncogene in human neuroblastoma cells down-regulates an inhibitor of endothelial cell proliferation, identified by amino acid sequencing as being identical with activin A, a developmentally regulated protein.
