Three-dimensional optical holography using a plasmonic metasurface
Lingling Huang,Lingling Huang,Xianzhong Chen,Holger Mühlenbernd,Hao Zhang,Shumei Chen,Shumei Chen,Benfeng Bai,Qiaofeng Tan,Guofan Jin,Kok Wai Cheah,Cheng-Wei Qiu,Jensen Li,Thomas Zentgraf,Shuang Zhang +14 more
TL;DR: Huang et al. as mentioned in this paper developed ultrathin plasmonic metasurfaces to provide 3D optical holographic image reconstruction in the visible and near-infrared regions for circularly polarized light.
Journal ArticleDOI
Helicity multiplexed broadband metasurface holograms
Dandan Wen,Fuyong Yue,Guixin Li,Guoxing Zheng,Guoxing Zheng,Kinlong Chan,Shumei Chen,Ming Chen,Ming Chen,King Fai Li,Polis Wing Han Wong,Kok Wai Cheah,Edwin Yue Bun Pun,Shuang Zhang,Xianzhong Chen +14 more
TL;DR: The demonstrated helicity multiplexed metasurface hologram with its high performance opens avenues for future applications with functionality switchable optical devices.
Journal ArticleDOI
Defect emissions in ZnO nanostructures
Aleksandra B. Djurišić,Yu Hang Leung,KH Tam,Y. F. Hsu,Lu Ding,Weikun Ge,Y. C. Zhong,Kam Sing Wong,W. K. Chan,Hoi Lam Tam,Kok Wai Cheah,Wai Ming Kwok,David Lee Phillips +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, defect emissions exhibited a strong dependence on the temperature and excitation wavelength, with some defect emissions observable only at low temperatures and for certain excitation wavelengths, while green emission was not significantly affected by annealing.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced photocatalytic activity of Ce3+–TiO2 for 2-mercaptobenzothiazole degradation in aqueous suspension for odour control
TL;DR: A series of cerium ion-doped titanium dioxide (Ce3+−TiO2) catalysts with special 4f electron configuration was prepared by a sol-gel process and characterized by Brunauer-Emmett-Teller method.
Journal ArticleDOI
Continuous control of the nonlinearity phase for harmonic generations
Guixin Li,Shumei Chen,Nitipat Pholchai,Bernhard Reineke,Polis Wing Han Wong,Edwin Yue Bun Pun,Kok Wai Cheah,Thomas Zentgraf,Shuang Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: The continuous phase engineering of the effective nonlinear polarizability enables complete control over the propagation of harmonic generation signals, paving the way for highly compact nonlinear nanophotonic devices.
