Gregory S. Merrick,K.E. Wallner,Wayne M. Butler,Robert W. Galbreath,Robert W. Galbreath,Zachariah A. Allen,Edward Adamovich,Lawrence D. True +7 more
TL;DR: To report the biochemical progression‐free survival (BPFS) in hormone‐naive men aged ≤ 54 years who underwent brachytherapy with or without supplemental external beam radiation therapy (EBRT), as despite favourable biochemical control rates with brachyTherapy, there remains a reluctance to recommend non‐extirpative approaches for young men with clinically localized prostate cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Utility of Pathology Imagebase for standardisation of prostate cancer grading.

TL;DR: The use of Pathology Imagebase, a novel reference image library, for setting an international standard in prostate cancer grading is described.
Journal ArticleDOI
Open-Top Light-Sheet Microscopy Image Atlas of Prostate Core Needle Biopsies.
Nicholas P. Reder,Adam K. Glaser,Erin F. McCarty,Ye Chen,Lawrence D. True,Jonathan T. C. Liu +5 more
TL;DR: Three-dimensional OTLS microscopy images have a similar appearance to traditional hematoxylin-eosin histology images, with the added benefit of useful 3D structural information.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Tumour cell survival mechanisms in lethal metastatic prostate cancer differ between bone and soft tissue metastases.
Canan Akfirat,Xiaotun Zhang,Aviva P. Ventura,Dror Berel,Mary E Colangelo,Cindy K. Miranti,Maryla Krajewska,John C. Reed,Celestia S. Higano,Lawrence D. True,Robert L. Vessella,Robert L. Vessella,Colm Morrissey,Beatrice S. Knudsen,Beatrice S. Knudsen +14 more
TL;DR: It is shown that bone and soft tissue metastases from the same patient differ significantly in expression of a panel of survival proteins and that with regard to survival protein expression, expression is associated with the metastatic site and not the patient.
