Journal ArticleDOI
Silver Single-Atom Catalyst for Efficient Electrochemical CO2 Reduction Synthesized from Thermal Transformation and Surface Reconstruction
Ningqiang Zhang,Xinxin Zhang,Lei Tao,Peng Jiang,Chenliang Ye,Rui Lin,Zhiwei Huang,Ang Li,Dawei Pang,Han Yan,Yu Wang,Peng Xu,Sufeng An,Qinghua Zhang,Licheng Liu,Shixuan Du,Xiaodong Han,Dingsheng Wang,Yadong Li +18 more
TL;DR: The Ag 1 /MnO 2 catalyst shows remarkable performance for CO 2 RR, far surpassing the conventional Ag nanosized catalyst (Ag NP /MmO 2 ) and other reported Ag-based catalysts.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tunable quadruple-well ferroelectric van der Waals crystals.
John A. Brehm,John A. Brehm,Sabine M. Neumayer,Lei Tao,Lei Tao,Andrew O'Hara,Marius Chyasnavichus,Michael A. Susner,Michael A. McGuire,Sergei V. Kalinin,Stephen Jesse,Panchapakesan Ganesh,Sokrates T. Pantelides,Sokrates T. Pantelides,Petro Maksymovych,Nina Balke +15 more
TL;DR: Ferroelectricity in two-dimensional CuInP 2 S 6 is shown to fit a quadruple well due to the van der Waals gap between layers of this material, which offers new opportunities for both fundamental studies and applications in data storage and electronics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Engineering the Local Atomic Environments of Indium Single‐Atom Catalysts for Efficient Electrochemical Production of Hydrogen Peroxide
Erhuan Zhang,Lei Tao,Jingkun An,Jiangwei Zhang,Lingzhe Meng,Xiao Hu Zheng,Yu Wang,Nan Li,Shixuan Du,Jiatao Zhang,Dingsheng Wang,Yadong Li +11 more
TL;DR: In this article , a heteroatom-modified In-based metal-organic framework-assisted approach is proposed to synthesize an optimal catalyst, in which single In atoms are anchored by combined N,S-dual first coordination and B second coordination supported by the hollow carbon rods (In SAs/NSBC).
Journal ArticleDOI
Piezoelectric domain walls in van der Waals antiferroelectric CuInP2Se6.
A. Dziaugys,Kyle P. Kelley,John A. Brehm,Lei Tao,Lei Tao,Alexander A. Puretzky,Tianli Feng,Tianli Feng,Andrew O'Hara,Sabine M. Neumayer,Marius Chyasnavichyus,Eugene A. Eliseev,Juras Banys,Yulian M. Vysochanskii,Feng Ye,Bryan C. Chakoumakos,Michael A. Susner,Michael A. McGuire,Sergei V. Kalinin,Panchapakesan Ganesh,Nina Balke,Sokrates T. Pantelides,Anna N. Morozovska,Petro Maksymovych +23 more
TL;DR: From systematic imaging experiments, it is inferred the formation of a partially polarized antiferroelectric state, with inclusions of structurally distinct ferrielectric domains enclosed by the corresponding phase boundaries, which may lead to rational strategies for incorporation of ferroic functionality into van der Waals heterostructures with stronger resilience toward detrimental size-effects.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tunable giant magnetoresistance in a single-molecule junction
Kai Yang,Hui Chen,Thomas Pope,Yibin Hu,Liwei Liu,Dongfei Wang,Lei Tao,Wende Xiao,Xiangmin Fei,Yu-Yang Zhang,Hong-Gang Luo,Shixuan Du,Tao Xiang,Werner A. Hofer,Werner A. Hofer,Hong-Jun Gao +15 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the electron pathway in a single-molecule device can be selected between two molecular orbitals by varying a magnetic field, giving rise to a tunable anisotropic magnetoresistance up to 93%.
