Effect of terbinafine and voriconazole on the pharmacokinetics of the antidepressant venlafaxine.
Ville-Veikko Hynninen,Klaus T. Olkkola,Leif Bertilsson,Kaisa J. Kurkinen,Pertti J. Neuvonen,Kari Laine +5 more
TL;DR: The most likely mechanism for the interaction between terbinafine and venlafaxine is the inhibition of CYP2D6‐mediated O‐demethylation of venl Lafaxine, whereas the minor effects of voriconazole are probably due to the inhibition.
Journal ArticleDOI
Factors influencing the metabolism of diazepam.
TL;DR: Theabolism of diazepam and related benzodiazepines: factors influencing the interindividual variation in the kinetics and metabolism (environmental factors, genetic factors)
Journal ArticleDOI
Pronounced Differences in the Disposition of Clomipramine Between Japanese and Swedish Patients
TL;DR: The aim of this study was to compare the disposition of the tricyclic antidepressant clomipramine in Japanese and Swedish patients receiving continuous treatment and to find out whether there is a true ethnic difference.
Journal ArticleDOI
Determination of isomeric acid dopamine metabolites in human cerebrospinal fluid by mass fragmentography.
Leif Bertilsson,Lena Palmér +1 more
TL;DR: It was found that the concentration of iso-HVA was less than 2% of the HVA level in the investigated 12 CSF samples from patients with different diseases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Glucuronidation of amitriptyline in man in vivo.
TL;DR: The present study shows that direct glucuronidation is a minor metabolic pathway of AT in man in vivo both after single low doses and during continuous treatment with therapeutic doses.
