Detection of picramic acid and picramate in henné products by NMR Spectroscopy.
TL;DR: The method here reported, regards the analysis on the possible presence of picramic acid in the ethyl acetate extracts of commercial henné powders by NMR Spectroscopy, and the set of signals corresponding to hennosides can be used as markers of the utilisation of the correct raw material of henne.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this paper, the first phytochemical analysis of the ethanolic extract of Daphne sericea Vahl flowering aerial parts collected in Italy and its biological activities were reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phytochemical profile of Iris tenax extract.
TL;DR: A phytochemical profile of a botanical product (TM) from Iris tenax has been produced focused on flavonoids and iridals, leading to a useful fingerprint of the tested extract based on HPLC and NMR data.

Journal ArticleDOI
Endemic species of sardo-corso-balearic area: molecular composition and biological assay of Teucrium
Ferruccio Poli,Anna Maria Serrilli,Paolo Scartezzini,Mariavittoria Muzzoli,Andrea Maxia,Mauro Ballero,Mauro Serafini,Armandodoriano Bianco +7 more
TL;DR: Teucrium marum and T. subspinosum have been extracted with different polarity solvents, each crude extract was analysed with 1H-NMR to compare the overall metabolic component and polar extracts showed antioxidant activity in vitro.
