Journal ArticleDOI
Translocation (4;15)(p16;q24): a novel reciprocal translocation in a patient with BCR/ABL negative myeloproliferative syndrome progressing to blastic phase.
K.P Papadopoulos,Vundavalli V. Murty,Nan Lin,A Matsushima,Ellen C. Riemer,Pulivarthi H. Rao,Gwen Nichols +6 more
TL;DR: A patient with BCR/ABL negative myeloproliferative syndrome with a 46,XY,del(3)(q21), t(4;15)(p16;q24) karyotype is described, and the absence of crkl tyrosine phosphorylation, no activation of the abl kinase as measured by autophosphorylated, and a normal-size abl transcript suggest an alternative mechanism for leukemogenesis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Abstract P1-04-05: Multiplexed immunofluorescence staining of intra-tumoral immune cell populations and associations with immunohistochemical, clinical, and pathologic variables in breast cancer
Tess O'Meara,Tanya Keenan,Adrienne G. Waks,Kristen Felt,Bijaya Sharma,Scott J. Rodig,Melissa E. Hughes,Nan Lin,Judith Agudo,Jennifer L. Guerriero,Sandra S. McAllister,Elizabeth A. Mittendorf,Sara M. Tolaney +12 more
TL;DR: Sharma et al. as discussed by the authors measured the infiltration of multiple immune cell populations in primary and metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) tumors to infer potential benefit from ICI.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Abstract PD2-09: The genomic landscape of intrinsic and acquired resistance to cyclin-dependent kinase 4/6 inhibitors (CDK4/6i) in patients with hormone receptor-positive (HR+)/HER2- metastatic breast cancer (MBC)
Seth A. Wander,Ofir Cohen,Xueqian Gong,Gabriela N. Johnson,Jorge E. Buendia-Buendia,Maxwell R. Lloyd,Dewey Kim,Flora Luo,Pingping Mao,Karla Helvie,Kailey J. Kowalski,Utthara Nayar,Stephen Parsons,Ricardo Martinez,Lacey M. Litchfield,Xiang Ye,Chunping Yu,Valerie M. Jansen,Levi A. Garraway,Eric P. Winer,Sara M. Tolaney,Nan Lin,Sean Buchanan,Nikhil Wagle +23 more
TL;DR: The genomic landscape of resistance to CDK4/6i is heterogeneous with multiple potential mediators that play well-established roles in cell division and oncogenic signal transduction, including activation of AKT1 and RAS family oncogenes as well as amplification of AURKA and CCNE2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multidimensional Molecular Profiling of Metastatic Triple-Negative Breast Cancer and Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor Benefit.
Romualdo Barroso-Sousa,Juliet Forman,Katharine Collier,Zachary Weber,Tejas R Jammihal,Katrina Z. Kao,Edward T. Richardson,Tanya Keenan,Ofir Cohen,Michael Manos,Ryan C. Brennick,Patrick A. Ott,F. Stephen Hodi,Deborah A. Dillon,V. Attaya,Tess O'Meara,Nan Lin,Eliezer M. Van Allen,Scott J. Rodig,Eric P. Winer,Elizabeth A. Mittendorf,Catherine J. Wu,Nikhil Wagle,Daniel G. Stover,Sachet A. Shukla,Sara M. Tolaney +25 more
TL;DR: Progression-free survival and OS were longer in patients with high programmed death-ligand 1 expression and tumor mutational burden, and potential biomarkers of response to ICIs among patients with mTNBC were identified: high tumormutational burden; presence of CD8+, CD4 memory T cells, follicular helper T cells and M1 macrophages; and inflammatory gene expression pathways.
Journal ArticleDOI
Successful diagnosis and treatment of ingested wooden toothpicks: Two case reports.
TL;DR: 2 toothpick ingestion cases of middle-aged persons who suffered from abdominal pain that were both diagnosed accurately and a toothpick was found penetrating the wall of intestine into the adjacent viscera in the laparotomy.
