Simulated crystalline structures of aromatic polyimides
TL;DR: Semicrystalline structures involving molecular packing and optimized chain conformations of three polyimides have been obtained with the CHARMM molecular-dynamics program, and their densities calculated, and an eclipsed conformation of face-to-face stacking of polymer chains with a relative shift is observed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Grain-boundary diffusion of Sn in Pb
K. K. Kim,D. Gupta,Paul S. Ho +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the combined diffusion parameter δDb is expressed by the Arrhenius relation, which is shown to be 7.3×10−9 exp(−0.41±0.02 eV/kT) (cm3/sec).
Journal ArticleDOI
Small angle X-ray scattering measurements of spatial dependent linewidth in dense nanoline gratings ☆
Chengqing C. Wang,Wei-En Fu,Bin Li,Huai Huang,Christopher L. Soles,Eric K. Lin,Wen-Li Wu,Paul S. Ho,Michael W. Cresswell +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) was used to characterize the cross section of nanoline gratings fabricated with electron beam lithography (EBL) patterning followed by anisotropic wet etching into a single crystal silicon substrate.

A method of metallising an organic substrate so as to achieve improved adhesion of the metal
TL;DR: In this paper, low energy reactive ions, electrons, or photons are used to alter the chemical composition of a surface layer of the substrate to a depth of from about 1 nm to a few tens of nanometers.
