Wide Field CCD photometry around nine open clusters
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the evolution of core and corona of nine open clusters using projected radial density profiles derived from homogeneous CCD photometric data obtained through the 105-cm Kiso Schmidt telescope.
Journal ArticleDOI
Supernova 2012aw - a high-energy clone of archetypal type IIP SN 1999em
Subhash Bose,Brijesh Kumar,Firoza Sutaria,Brajesh Kumar,Brajesh Kumar,Rupak Roy,V. K. Bhatt,S. B. Pandey,H. C. Chandola,Ram Sagar,Kuntal Misra,Sayan Chakraborti +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present densely-sampled UBV RI/griz photometric and low-resolution (6-10u optical spectroscopic observations from 4 to 270 days after explosion of a newly discovered type II SN 2012aw in a nearby galaxy M95.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characteristics of aerosol spectral optical depths over Manora Peak: A high‐altitude station in the central Himalayas
TL;DR: In this paper, the spectral behavior of aerosol optical depths (AODs) over Manora Peak, Nainital, located at an altitude of ∼2 km in the Shivalik ranges of the central Himalayas, was investigated using a multiwavelength solar radiometer during January to December 2002.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: It is suggested that the bump can be modeled with a SN having the same temporal profile as the other proposed hypernova SN2002ap, but 1.3 mag brighter at peak, and located at the GRB redshift.
