Roger G. Owen,Steven P. Treon,Ayad Al-Katib,Rafael Fonseca,Philip R. Greipp,Mary L. McMaster,Enrica Morra,Gerassimos A. Pangalis,Jesús F. San Miguel,Andrew R. Branagan,Meletios A. Dimopoulos +10 more
TL;DR: This presentation represents consensus recommendations for the clinicopathological definition of Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia (WM), which were prepared in conjunction with the Second International Workshop held in Athens, Greece during September 2002.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fractionation sensitivity and dose response of late adverse effects in the breast after radiotherapy for early breast cancer: long-term results of a randomised trial
John Yarnold,A. Ashton,Judith M Bliss,J. Homewood,Caroline Harper,Jane Hanson,Jo Haviland,Søren M. Bentzen,Roger G. Owen +8 more
TL;DR: An alpha/beta value of around 3 Gy for late normal tissue changes in the breast is derived from the estimated equivalence of 41.6 Gy in 13 fractions and 50 Gy in 25 fractions over 5 weeks, in line with trial predictions.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: Analysis of normal and neoplastic plasma cell levels is more sensitive than immunofixation and can identify which patients may benefit from additional treatment strategies at an early stage after transplantation.
